This study entitled “Records Management System of Learner’s
Accreditation and Equivalency Test Result for Alternative Learning System of
Cauayan City, Isabela” was conducted to determine the deficiencies in the
present system. The present system is basically manual in its operation especially
in handling and updating the student’s profile/records. The researchers aimed to
upgrade the existing system of Alternative Learning System in Cauayan City,
Isabela. In this proposed system record and visualized the accredited learners in
per year, based on their test result. The system where the researchers proposed,
showing the details where and how the system works.
In findings of the study, the data gathered from the questionnaires
answered by the 45 respondents. The researchers found out that the respondents
encountered problem by the current system. The was proposed needed by the
respondents in order to manage and secure the records of the student from not
intentional losing by using manually keeping and stock in file cabinet, the
researchers concluded that the present existing system of the Alternative
Learning System of Cauayan City, Isabela caused problems in terms of
performance; data/information; control and security; efficiency and services in
the present system. Based on the result the researchers conclude that the
evaluation of the respondents gives a tough reason that there is a need to
support and replace the manual system by used of the Records Management
System of Learner’s Accreditation and Equivalency Test Result for Alternative
Learning System of Cauayan City, Isabela
In connection to this research study, the proposed Records
Management System of Learner’s Accreditation and Equivalency Test Result for
Alternative Learning System of Cauayan City, Isabela should be implemented
because it gives better strategies in inputting, retrieving, editing and storing
data.
