Master in Information and Technology (MIT)

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

The Master in Information Technology (MIT) Thesis degree equip students for practical work in business and IT industry, engages in researches focusing in development of information technology applications, applying higher level of technical skills. (MIT) is a two-year program consist of 12 units graduate level core subjects, 18 units IT specialization courses which the student need to choose from the different specialization track in Network Administration, Database Administration and Data Science. A comprehensive examination shall be taken and passed by the student before taking the 6 units Thesis courses. The total number of units to be satisfied for the degree in Master in Information Technology (MIT) is 39 units.

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES

Specifically, students by the time they graduate are envisioned to:

a. Administer and manage a network;
b. Apply skills in systems integration, systems administration, systems planning, and systems implementation in the industry;
c. Develop educational programs and systems in the field of information technology based on the conducted research;
d. Qualify to enroll or enter doctorate degree program.
